I've tried to copy the Firefox password file (signons.txt) to Mozilla, but so far unsuccessful.
You can't "share" a Profile between Firefox and Mozilla, but you can use the same Bookmarks file for both Profiles: Share Bookmarks With Multiple Profiles
The Bookmarks will be syncronized between the two Profiles.
You could copy your Cookies, Address Book, etc. from one Profile to the other but they won't be syncronized...
So, passwords are a one-way street (Moz to FF) and sharing profiles wont
work.
Good to know for sure.
thanks, Ramona,

Think that Mozilla is a suite, browser+mail, while Firefox is browser only. The bookmarks are used only in the browser part, so they can share. But passwords are another story, since some passwords are for mail accounts, and other are for browsing purposes. It would be nice if they would divided into two lanes, but, unfortunately it does not work that way.
