I am running Firefox 1.0.6 and have added a few extensions which in turn add new toolbars to my browser. These toolbars are often quite small and don't take up an entire width of the browser window. (ie: Switch Proxy or Stumble) Is there a way that I can make these smaller toolbars appear on the same toolbar with a separator? I can't drag them.
Thanks...I would like to regain some window space in my browser but don't want to give up these great toolbar extensions.

Can you post a screenshot so we can see what you're talking about?
Most items on the toolbars, other than the menus, are draggable if you right-click anywhere in the menubar/toolbar area (except in the address and search windows) and select "Customize...".
You might also consider upgrading, as FF 1.0.6 is way out of date. FF 1.5 is the current release.
To add to what Jim said, I have three extention items on my Menu Toolbar, and two more in the Status Toolbar (these are selected during the set up of the extention). As for Menu Toolbar, the Customize toolbar should have icons to drag and drop.
I have no additional toolbars, as you do, but this attachment will give you an idea of what's possible in the way of customizing your menubar/toolbar. Obviously, I use the Windows Classic display, and I use no FF themes.

I was able to put my "Send Me File" toolbar beside my "Stumble" toolbar as this was an option in that particular extension (which I hadn't noticed before!)
I have a Proxy toolbar below them all which doesn't have an option to place it where I want it in the extension options so I am guessing I'm out of luck there.
I haven't attached a screenshot before, where is the option to attach a file to my post?

While you have the "Customize" window open, try dragging your Proxy toolbar to wherever you want it (may not work for a toolbar, as opposed to individual items).
"...where is the option to attach a file to my post?"
Scroll down the composition window page ... you should see a button labeled "Manage Attachments". If one of your extensions is AdBlock Plus (may be true for AdBlock, as well) you need to disable it (right-click menu option on the icon) to show the button. You may need to reload the page, too.
As I think about it, it may be an option available only to subscribers. Look just below this post at the BBS Posting Rules ... they will tell you if you can post attachments. If you can, I don't know why you're unable to do so.
IceWine,
can you give a link to the extentiont in question, or, just read up about that. I am not familiar with any of the extentions which you mention, so I can't do anything more than concur with Jim.
I had already decided to take a chance, although I have no need for Switch Proxy. It is really easy. You can do it from the properties of the Switch Proxy toolbar, or just can click on View|Switch Proxy toolbar, and the toolbar is gone.
Then you can go to View|Customize, and scroll all the way down, and you can drag and drop the SwitchProxy button into the Menu bar. If you don't like it, you can drag it back down.
