If NS8 is already installed, were you not asked which program to import settings from. If you miss that one you can select, from the Bookmarks, File|Import, where ever your bookmarks.html file is. This will add those bookmarks to the what is already there. Or, you may want to replace the file, by copying the 7.2 file, and pasting it in the 8.x profile. It is easy if you know how to navigate Windows Explorer.
