Netscape templates - Help?

I have standard email replies for my business saved in "templates ". When I get an email and click "reply ", I then go to my "templates" folder, click on the reply I want, highlight that reply using "Ctrl A" and then "Ctrl C" to copy the message to the clipboard. I then go back to the email I'm replying to and use "Ctrl V" to paste in my reply. While font size/color is preserved, the problem is that my logo photo and other photos do not get pasted in. I have to click "insert ", "image" and reinsert the image(s) every time. This is VERY anoying and time consuming. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a better way to get this job done? Will upgrading to Netscape 7.2 work?

I know that I could type in the recepiants email address while in the templates folder but I prefer to have the subject (RE and the original email question preserved in my reply.

Let me do some experimenting, which I'm certain you have also done. I don't think there is any easy fix or workaround for this, but maybe we can cut back on a few steps.

work around

I actually managed a work around about 8 months ago using my old Netscape 4.x, saved the text changes and got it into 7.1 in tact somehow. Photos and everything worked fine but now can't figure out how I did that.

Any text changes now are a hassle.

I appreciate your help.

What you want to do just isn't doable. I have tried different approaches, but I think you're stuck with using the Template, and pasting in the Client's message body, and reply in the Template.

I haven't tried Communicator yet, but will see if I can do anything with it.
