Netscape 7.1 slow to close Acrobat pages

If I have a pdf Acrobat page open in the Netscape 7.1 browser, when I click to close it there is about a 10 second delay before it closes. During this time any open Netscape screen is frozen.

If I have the same page open by Acrobat Reader 6 itself there is no delay.

Any ideas?

plugin issue.
If you don't have many PDFs in the latest format, I would suggest you to move back down to Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.xx for the speed reason.
Otherwise, you can open the PDF in external Adobe Reader (or Acrobat Reader 5.xx), which is what I always do.

Ok thanks,
Right, it's a plugin issue.
Actually I'd rather have pdfs open in Acrobat, and not with the plugin, but it seems to me everytime I configure Acrobat to ignore the browser settings, and configure Netscape as such, the files open in the browser anyway.
