I am currently using Nestcape 7.1. When I upgraded from Wins 98 to XP all of my mail settings/profiles were lost.
I backed up my harddrive to another prior to my new upgrade, but not individual mail profiles.
When I launched xp it can not find any of my profiles, bookmarks, addresses...etc,
Any ideas on how to retrieve my old mail settings.
    Thanks Michael

Welcome to the Forum, Michael AA!

    Hi Michael,

    Windows XP Profiles Folder Location:
    C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profilename\xxxxxxxx.slt

NOTE: These files are hidden by default.
    To see hidden files:
    1. On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options
    2. Click the View tab
    3. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders
Look in your your *.slt folder. There you will find your abook.mab (Address Book), and your bookmarks.html files. Your Mail Account Folder should also be listed. Once you've found the folders/files, do you see more than one Profile Name folder?

Look in that harddrive. The drive letter could be something else. Look for
    X:\Windows\Application Data\Netscape\Profiles\default\xxxxx.slt

This is only a guess cause I use Mozilla in Win98.
