I stopped using NS because it was taking forever to save images.

I went to IE6 and loved the image toolbar and non duplication of favourites.

I am again going to NS because I like the bookmark saving but it doesn't have either of the IE6 features, does Mozilla have them?

No choice for me! Mozilla is better and more secure than IE and more up to date than Netscape-now defunct anyway. Or try Firefox for a nimble if less featured alternative-I love it! Sorry, can`t compare with Netscape,it`s so long since I tried it.

    -------------
Bookmarks in NS = Favorites in IE.

I went from NS 7.1 to Mozilla 1.6 just last week. I also experienced NS sluggishness saving files. I noticed that as you open windows and tabs in NS it will slow, then crash after a very few hours.

After experimenting a bit, I found that emptying the Download Manager (In tools) and keeping the cache size to about 50 mb sped things up. Then the crashes happened less frequently, but they still happened far too often.

After questioning why (in this forumn) Ramona suggested Mozilla. I did. It is faster and so far has not crashed, even with a bigger cache (100 mb) and infrequently clearing Download Manager. It is almost identical in look & feel to NS 7.1

I don't use IE unless forced to by some site (rare) so I don't know what Favorites/Bookmark feature, or any other features it has over NS/Mozilla. (nor do I care)
