I don't have any benchmark software or know any other way than doing 2 things: 1. surfing various familiar sites: results have been that the performance of both versions are pretty close, hard to tell. 2. measuring the speed of dsl connection with verizon speed test.: the result has been consitently: a) version 1.3.1 : download between 1300 to 1309 kbps. b) version 1.4 : download between 1310 to 1324 kbps. The measurements spread over many days and they appeared consitent. So, is mozilla 1.4 faster than mozilla 1.3.1? Last edited by bluesky; 5th July 2003 at 14:07.
