When reports began to emerge that the latest Flash Player update to version 11.3.300.257 was causing the Firefox browser to freeze or crash, I started to investigate the matter. Firefox users who upgrade their version of Flash to the latest official version may experience crashes and freezes in the browser, sometimes in rapid succession. They basically make the browser unusable to work with.

I had problems with the previous version of the FlashPlayer, but not with 11.3.300.257. I'm using both FF 13.0.1 and FF 15.0a2.

Firefox, Seamonkey and Thunderbird have been updated to 13.0.1, 2.10.1, and 13.0.1, respectively, to fix the problem.
Personally, I had no issue, with the Flash update, using either Firefox 13 or Seamonkey 2.10, but I have read that others have ha the problems mentioned by Arie.

I was also having problems with the new update and Firefox. Not crashing, but the videos would not show up. I downloaded the debugger for Flash, installed it, and now everything is back. Here's the link if you want to try.

I have problems with this thread, because none of the link show a problem. I tried a number of video/audios from the BBC, and they worked fine. This is one example. The link works in Seamonkey 2.10.1 and Firefox 13.0.1. Interestingly, only Firefox showed the advertisement, at least in one try.

I was using Firefox 13.0.1 with Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.257 and when I watched youtube videos, Firefox or Adobe Flash Plugin would crash sometimes. I thought this was normal because ever since maybe Firefox 3.6 Firefox and Adobe Flash Plugin would crash a lot. But just now youtube videos were constantly getting Adobe Flash Plugin errors so I updated the Adobe Flash Player from 11.3.300.257 to 11.3.300.262 and now youtube videos seem to be playing okay without errors.
