I see some mailers allow a Name (i.e.: JOKE READERS) which replaces the <undisclosed recipents> in the address header. Can TB do this?

    Yes and no.
    See: BCC at MozillaZine.

If you BCC a mailing list and there is no To: address, then Thunderbird adds To: undisclosed-recipients:; You can prevent this by setting mail.compose.add_undisclosed_recipients to false using the Config Editor. Thunderbird never sends the name of the list in the message.

Put yourself as the TO: when composing the message.

    Sorry - missing info

Sorry but I must be having more than a Senior moment at the time.

I can't figure out how to run the Config Editor. I'm runnig TB 10.0.2 and can't find it in any of the drop down menus.

It's this warm Fl weather - slows down the brain. (When up north I blame it on brain freeze.)

Thanks for the info. I see the line, but it doesn't allow what I wanted to do. I have several different groups I do mailings to and wanted the list to define the group name.
