I am a blind computer user, and use JAWS as my screen reading software.
A few days a go, I was sent a script which allows you to do a Google search from within any application.
When trying to search for something the first time, I noticed that Firefox had created a new profile.
After doing a bit of looking around, I found the profile in C:\Documents and Settings\Local Service\Application Data\Mozilla\Mozilla Firefox\Profiles
I'm wondering, how shall I go about deleting the profile? I've looked in profile manager, but obviously since the profile isn't in my actual documents and settings folder, its not finding it.
For your information, the google search script uses the Firefox -Search command line switch.

I must be missing a step somewhere. When I go to certain sites where I have to logon (here, for example) SM2 doesn't auto add my UserID nor password. I have to manually type the first letter of my logon name and then I get a dropdown box with my logon. I have to click it and then it and my password are entered. It's acting like IE.

Yet, there's other sites where my UserID and password are automatically entered when I go to the site. Here (WBBS) isn't one of them; although with SM1.1.18 there's no problem.

I'm running SM2 on a "new\clean" XP install. Sometimes when I click on the SM shortcut my homepage comes up but there's no verbiage on the page. If I move the mouse everything "fades" into view — but not always, only occasionally.

Google is my homepage and when it happens, the Google logo comes up and the search box comes up with the cursor blinking in it, and below that it says: "This page intentionally left blank." But, like I said, if I move the mouse it's OK.

???

This has happened on another drive with SM2, but never with 1.1.18. you may try one of these steps to set Thunderbird as your default email
application:



thru Thunderbird:

From Thunderbird's main window, go to Tools > Options, and make sure that the General icon is highlighted.
Under Default Settings, check the Mail checkbox.
Click OK to validate your choice. Close Thunderbird. Then try sending a link and see if Thunderbird automatically handles it.



thru Internet Options:

Go to the Start Menu, choose Control Panel --> double-click on Internet Options --> Programs tab --> Under E-mail, all email programs recognized as such by Windows will be listed: Thunderbird will be among these since it is installed on your computer.
Select Thunderbird from the E-mail drop-down, and click OK to validate your choice.

Then try sending a link and see if Thunderbird automatically handles it.



thru Program Access and Defaults:

Go to Start --> then Control Panel --> click on Add or Remove Programs --> Set Program Access and Defaults --> Custom --> set Mozilla Thunderbird as your default email application. There must be some setting I'm overlooking. Why would this occur when I click REPLY vs FORWARD?
