His system was infected with a slew of virues and I was not able to clean the viruses, not to mention the browser was also "hijacked". After doing a system recovery, I'm able to browse the internet with no issues, all sites open fine however, when I log into comcast.net and download the Mcafee suite software that they offer to their customers, the install fails and I can no longer visit any sites. When a site is entered into the browser, the page opens,but is completely blank. If I click an icon on the desktop I receive an error, internet explorer cannot download 711-30572-11896-7, which I have never seen or heard of before today.

I performd another systen recovery and once again I can view any web site, but again when I go out to www.comcast.net and download the Mcafee suiute and install it, the install fails and I'm back to square one, unable to view sites, page opens, but are blank. Google searches made me believe it was caused by malware, but the folks over in the malware section said there was nothing on my computer. Any ideas how to get rid of this error?

It is the only website where this happens. I never had problems with that site (AmericanGreetings.com) before. I notified them about the problem and they gave me suggestions to try to fix it, but none worked. I can get the site to open once, by "clearing footprints" in Internet Options. I have to do this each time I want to open the site.
