I seems that occassionally Courier will not show new messages.
I had abound 7 new messages what was in the Show New Messages Seach.
New mail came in.
I clicked on the Show New Messages icon and only 1 appeared.
The folders where the messages are still are bold and the messages are bold but the Search New doesn't find them.
I restarted and no help.
Currently the Show New Messages only beeps at me.
Since I use unread / new messages as my 'work to do' I find this painfull.
Any hope of getting an update to fix these problems????

I tried to duplicate your problem, Jack, but mine is working fine. I have seen many situations where a reinstall corrects the problem. I know that's not a good response, but it's a possibility.
No, Courier hasn't been undated since 2004 and that project is closed. We have since worked with Poco Systems for a significant update to PocoMail to incorporate many Courier features and announced that in early April. The new PocoMail has some features that Courier never had, some new features that Courier always had, and there are some features that are not there, but we figured this was a positive direction to help Courier users migrate to a current email client that is supported and will have future enhancements. PocoMail does have the facility to show unread mail. I'm not trying to sell you on upgrading; I just wanted you aware of current status.
