Registration not working properly, throws error

I installed Courier ver. 3.5 build 1098 on my Win 2000 system and I am receiving an error on the registration portion. When I register it with my name and serial number, it accepts it. However, when I close Courier and re-open it, it shows a registration error, and I have to re-register the thing. I checked in the registry under the key; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\RoseCitySoftware\Courier, and the reg info is there with my name and serial number. So, it is recording the info to the registry like it should, but evidently is not reading it when the app is restarted. Has anyone else found this bug and or the cure for it?

Have you also used one of the Courier Betas? I had that problem when I had both 3.5 and a beta on my computer at the same time. All I can suggest is a full uninstall and reinstall. Otherwise, I've never heard of that problem. Good luck,
david
