MailBox Size

I am using Calypso and Courier since 2000. I am using courier 3.5 on windows XP now. My mailbox is now 2GB and Courier gives alert "ur box is at limit removing wastebox and Junkyard" . Is there any limitation on mailbox size ?
If i upgrade to 3.6 still will have limit ?

Sorry, but it seems you've mentioned the magic number. To my understanding, all Courier versions still have that 2.0GB limit. I clear out mine every so often by copying and then renaming the box file to whatever I want my backup to be named, open it and then pause the accounts so the backup doesn't fetch mail whenever I wish to use it. Then I open the original box file and delete all mails knowing I have a fully functional box file safely storing everything I am deleting. (If you wish to do this, it is worth noting that Courier must be closed to make a copy of the active .box file)

I believe David mentioned a freeware program called courex that makes backing up and restoring easy, but I can't offer much info on it because I never really found a need to use it.

For what it's worth, I believe Courier development wants to remove that size limitation at some point, but I have no idea when that would be.

Yes, the limit is 2 gig and it is still there in 3.6. Maybe 3.7, or 4.0. You might try archiving portions of the mailbox, empty the wastebasket and compress.
