Question Courier 3.5 Crashes when trying to send new Excel files

Following the 3.6 development, can't wait for its release, in the mean time, 3.5 continues to do its job very well!
Having installed MS 2007 Office package, I've tried to send an Excel file with the .xlsx extension. I get within a few K of success, and get the message that "Courier must close, do you want to notify MS?". Same program using the .xls extension works fine.
Running XP Pro, SR2.
No other problems with 3.5!
Thanks,
Chris

This is good input, Chris. Thanks for that. we did a thorough set of testing attachments a few weeks ago, but no xlxs attachments. Otherwise, I'm glad you're enjoying 3.5. When we release 3.6, I think you'll find it has many refinements over 3.5. We're not just making a more reliable product, but cleaning up a number of little bugs that have been with Courier a long time... Thanks for writing. I will definitely add this to our test matrix.

we tested today with XP and Vista. both systems were able to create and email and retrieve xlxs files from Office 2007. I appreciate the early feedback so that we could test and confirm. kewl! Thanks again for sharing this.

Hi David,

Glad to have helped (a little anyway).

Quick Question: 3.6 will work with CompanionLink! Right!

Thanks,
Chris

Chris, can you hum a few bars of that? My inference is that you're using companionlink software to sync a portable device? what kind of device and with what data? I'm very interested, so will appreciate as much as you're willing to tell. I am assuming also that this process works with Courier 3.5? Let me know and we can go from there. Thanks for asking now - and not later....
