I'm very interesting about Calypso 3.6 (I used for many years Calypso 3.5).
My currebnt version it's 3.6.1192
I propose to create a thread where will be available the info about new program public build and link to download it.
Another option it's to create a process where anyone can register his email and will be advise about any new release of Courier 3.6.
Of course hop also that in a near future we can have a multilanguage UI for caluypso (I already proosed myself for the italian translation).
well, i already said I would do that.. provide info on new releases and how to download. And, until it's productional, I'm hesitant to create a mail list for downloads. that info will be here on the forum.
Yes, I do appreciate your offer to translate to Italian... we've had several discussions on how to best manage that task.. it's a bit in the future, but I'm already laying the foundation for the opportunity... so, that opportunity may come. it's nontrivial, but would be a nice enhancement...

How do you get version 3.6.1192? I thought only version 3.5 was currently available, at least that was the only copy available for download (that I could find). If 3.6.1192 is in production, where do I find it? Sorry if this is a stupid question but bovirus stated he had that version as if it was a released version.

No, not a stupid question, Tamara. the build that he mentioned is a beta version that still has a list of bugs to resolve. I've made it available because some people are on Vista and cannot use 3.5 and had requested access to the beta. I've received some positive feedback from these Vista users, but it's still a beta that still crashes on occasion.
If you're using an earlier version of Windows than Vista, my suggestion is to wait. The main objective of 3.6 is Vista compliance - not new substantive features. When the next beta build is available I will post an explicit thread for it... but I'm only doing that to allow people to use it who are unable to use 3.5. We have a beta test team that is working on the bugs. My caveat in making it publicly available is that it is available for use "as is"... that is, users shouldn't post their problems as we're already working on them.
