The other day, while checking updates, I installed SP3, which I truly didn't want. So, I went to Add/Remove pgms. I could't find SP3 or SP2 for that matter.
One of the reasons that I wanted to go back to SP@ is that the Task Bar no longer has Addresses. Much research tells me that SP3 no longer has the capabiliy to go to right-click task bar to get submenu and no longer contails Address bar to CHECK.
Is it possible to uninstall SP3 and get back to SP2? My research tells me that it isn't possible. Please tell me that is in error and I can return to SP2. Just need to know how to achieve it.
If indeed I'm stuck, then how can I get Addresses in my Task Bar.
    Thanks in advance.

If you really need an addressbar in your taskbar, try
    http://www.systemsabuse.com/2007/12...where-did-my-toolbars-address-bar-go-missing/
    or
    http://www.ghacks.net/2008/11/19/enable-address-bar-in-windows-xp-sp3/
    or
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com.../thread/6748d140-cde9-4705-9612-7013a6bcd910/

I found those, amongst many other hits by searching the internet for Addressbar in Taskbar XP sp3, which perhaps you might have thought of doing yourself :).
Note: I've not tried any of these as I've never used the address toolbar.
